What we are able to do.
 
At Bluebell Design we can:
 
- design and make curtains and roman blinds, made to measure for your windows
 
- make window treatments in your own choice of fabric - we will not make you buy fabric from us
 
- refresh your sofas and chairs with new loose covers or cushions
 
- repair or revive a favourite lampshade with new fabrics and trimmings, giving it new life and allowing you to enjoy it again
 
- design and make room accessories such as cushions, in  a fabric of your choice.

 
What we are unable to do.
 
At Bluebell Design we cannot:
 
- accept dirty or smelly fabric to work with. Whilst we can rework old curtains into new items, we must insist that these items are freshly cleaned and free from fleas and moths before being handed in. Fabric that does not comply with this request will be returned to you immediately. If you are unable to collect immediately, your fabric will be stored outside to avoid contaminating anything else in my workroom. Fleas are extremely common in old curtains if you have had pets so a couple of days in your freezer and a good vacuum will probably solve any problem.
 
- be responsible for fabric suitability or wearability if you supply it yourself. I will voice my concerns, but ultimate responsibility lies with you.
 
- accept multiple short pieces of fabric to work from, if you supply it yourself, especially for curtains. Your short pieces will not match the cuts I require and will therefore be returned to you and your order cancelled. Your deposit less my time will also be returned. Please be aware that my time may well use up all your deposit, as checking fabric for errors and quanitity can take a number of hours.
 
- should you wish to purchase your own fabric, you must buy enough. Your order will be cancelled and your deposit returned less my time should you supply insufficient fabric. If you have any doubt at all as to how much fabric to purchase please do not hesitate to call me.

Please remember that a £10 fee, payable at the consultation, will be charged for distances further than 10 miles from Limekilns.
This is fully refundable on all orders over £100.
